Haldi Malas, made with turmeric, are sacred to the goddess Bagalamukhi. They are used to perform japa (repetition of a mantra) specifically of Bagalamukhi's mantra for her blessings. 

These haldi malas were activated on the puja table of sacred items inside the yagya shala during the Bagalamukhi Yagya, which took place from March 30 - April 7. 

For those who received initiation into the Bagalamukhi mantra during Spring Navaratri, this is the perfect mala to practice your new mantra.
